Three additional individuals are also being investigated by the Civil Police but were released after providing statements to authorities.

The case is being investigated as homicide with eventual intent (dolo eventual), a legal classification under Brazilian law that applies when a person knowingly assumes the risk that their actions could result in death.

The investigation involves teams from the Civil Police, the Fire Department, and the Mobile Emergency Care Service (SAMU), who continue to examine the circumstances that led to the fatal accident.
